12 out of the top 20 markets on the Hyperliquid platform are HIP-3 assets
PANews, March 9 – According to Finance Feeds, decentralized derivatives exchange Hyperliquid stated that 12 out of the top 20 markets by trading volume are HIP-3 assets linked to indices and commodities. HIP-3 is an improvement proposal introduced by Hyperliquid, allowing creators to use external price sources to deploy perpetual futures markets for a wide range of assets, including commodities, stock indices, and other macroeconomic instruments. This data indicates a growing interest in exposure to real-world assets on the platform, as traders seek to access traditional financial markets on-chain through perpetual contracts.

Suppliers have stated bluntly that even if buyers are willing to pay a premium, inventory may still not be available.
