The probabilities of the Federal Reserve maintaining the same interest rate in May and June are 96.2% and 83.0%, respectively
The "Fed Watch" data from CME shows that the probability of the Federal Reserve keeping interest rates unchanged in May is 96.2%, and the probability of a rate cut by 25 basis points is 3.8%. By June, the likelihood of the Fed maintaining steady rates stands at 83.0%, with a cumulative chance for a rate cut by 25 basis points at 16.5% and a cumulative possibility for a reduction by 50 basis points at just 0.5%.
