The Iraqi Ministry of Oil stated on the 14th that since the beginning of August, the country’s average daily crude oil exports have rebounded to 2 million barrels, reaching the highest level since the outbreak of the Middle East conflict on February 28 and the disruption of shipping in the Strait of Hormuz. Iraqi Oil Minister Hayan Abdul Ghani said at a press conference, "Since the beginning of this month, crude oil exports have reached 2 million barrels per day," with a cumulative export volume of about 26 million barrels. Before the outbreak of the Middle East conflict, Iraq's average daily crude oil production was around 4 million barrels, with a monthly average export of about 105 million barrels, most of which were shipped from the southern Basra oil terminal and exported via the Strait of Hormuz.
