US Stocks Opened Mixed, AI Tech Stocks Retreat with Memory Sector Leading Declines
The three major U.S. stock indexes opened mixed. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.06%, the S&P 500 fell 0.31%, and the Nasdaq Composite fell 0.70%. AI tech stocks collectively retreated, with the memory sector leading the declines. SK Hynix ADR fell 9%, Micron Technology fell 5%, and SanDisk fell 6%.
