Pre-market highlights for U.S. stocks: META plans to invest an additional $40 billion to expand its data centers, SpaceX to conduct its 13th test flight

1. All three major US stock index futures are down. Dow Jones index futures fell 0.20%, S&P 500 index futures dropped 0.47%, Nasdaq 100 index futures fell 1.27%.
2. International oil prices are rising across the board. WTI crude oil futures rose 4.26%, quoted at $74.452 per barrel; Brent crude oil futures rose 4.37%, quoted at $79.328 per barrel.

5. META announced an additional $40 billion investment in the Louisiana data center, expanding the data center’s computing power scale to 5 gigawatts.
6. Renowned journalist Gurman stated that Apple has completed M7 chip tape-out and expects to release it in the first half of next year. The company will launch M7 Pro and M7 Max by the end of 2027, and M7 Ultra in 2028. 8. Samsung Electronics is reportedly providing samples of the next-generation AI PC dedicated processor Gaia to PC manufacturers such as HP and Lenovo. The chip is a neural network processing unit (NPU) and is expected to be manufactured using Samsung Electronics’ 4-nanometer process technology.
9. Intel announced an additional €5 billion investment in its Ireland factory to upgrade existing wafer facilities and install advanced manufacturing equipment, thus expanding AI chip production capacity.
10. The US storage sector fell sharply before the market opened. SK Hynix ADR dropped over 10%, SanDisk fell over 6%, Micron dropped over 5%.
