- U.S. stocks opened with mixed performance among the three major indexes. The Dow Jones rose 0.95%, the S&P 500 Index fell 0.37%, and the Nasdaq fell 1.04%.
- Among individual stocks, Broadcom fell 13.67%, Ciena Technologies dropped 13.28%, CrowdStrike declined 8.91%, Norwegian Cruise Line rose 6.78%, and UnitedHealth gained 4.21%.
- Regarding the "Magnificent Seven": Amazon rose 0.92%, Microsoft increased 0.91%, Meta Platforms advanced 0.81%, Apple climbed 0.62%, Google gained 0.49%, NVIDIA declined 0.42%, and Tesla dropped 1.09%.
