Golden Ten Data April 27|Thermo Fisher Scientific announced on Monday that it will sell its microbiology business to private equity firm Astorg for $1.08 billion. The microbiology business provides antimicrobial susceptibility testing and culture media products for clinical, pharmaceutical, and food safety applications. This division belongs to Thermo Fisher Scientific’s Specialty Diagnostics segment and is expected to achieve revenues of $645 million in 2025.
