According to The Block, footwear and sportswear giant Adidas and its blockchain partner Stepn announced on Thursday that they will release a limited edition of physical shoes. This move comes after the announcement in April that Adidas collaborated with Solana-based fitness app Stepn to release 1,000 NFTs, which make up the Stepn x Adidas Genesis Sneakers series. In a statement, Stepn said that later this month, the two companies will launch "a limited edition of 1200 pairs of Adidas Ultraboost 5 physical running shoes". The Adidas-Stepn shoes will only be sold on the MOOAR market.
