On Nov. 3, two-thirds of bettors on Kalshi, a forecasting marketplace regulated by the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), thought bitcoin would hit an all-time high this year, but less than half thought it would reach $80,000 by the end of 2024.
