Bitmain's affiliated AI company: We have never had any direct or indirect business dealings with Huawei. We have provided an investigation report to TSMC
Sophgo, an artificial intelligence company associated with Bitmain, stated in a declaration that it has never had any direct or indirect business dealings with Huawei. Sophgo has provided a detailed investigation report to Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) to prove that the investigation into Sophgo is unrelated to Huawei.
Earlier news from The Information reported that the U.S. Department of Commerce launched an investigation into TSMC earlier this month to confirm whether it supplied chips to Huawei. Subsequently, TSMC stopped supplying chips to Sophgo, the AI company associated with Bitmain.
