Snoop Dogg and Robert Rodriguez and Republic Help Filmmakers Raise Funds
U.S. rapper Snoop Dogg and filmmaker Robert Rodriguez are inviting fans to invest in their upcoming projects, opening up a new way to raise money for artists. The duo have teamed up with investment platform Republic with the aim of helping the filmmakers raise money, according to a statement on Thursday. Investors' interests in debt, equity or revenue-sharing agreements will be issued through blockchain networks, including smart contract platform Avalanche.
