According to CME "Fed Watch": The probability of the Federal Reserve cutting interest rates by 25 basis points in September is 72.5%, and the probability of a 50 basis point cut is 27.5%. The likelihood that the Fed will have cumulatively cut rates by 50 basis points by November is 56.3%, while there's a 37.6% chance for a cumulative reduction of 75 basis points, and a mere 6.2% possibility for an overall decrease of up to100 basis points.
