U.S. stocks opened, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 12 points, the S&P 500 Index down 0.01%, and the Nasdaq Composite Index down 0.12%. Tesla (TSLA.O) fell more than 3% on rumors that the company plans to reduce car production in China.
