The MEV arbitrage bot on the Solana network has earned a profit of 1.8 million dollars
An operator running an MEV arbitrage bot on the Solana network earned a profit of $1.8 million in a single transaction. The bot, operated by 2Fast, converted 703 SOL (worth about $70,000) into 19,035 SOL (about $1.9 million) within 20 seconds. A portion of the profit, 890 SOL, was given as a tip to the network validator Figment. This was initially noticed by user @norbertbodziony. The profit was obtained through an MEV strategy targeting yesterday's Meme coin dogwifhat (WIF) trade.
