Instacart, Big Y Foods Launch Foodservice Kiosks, Online Ordering

10:02 AM EDT, 10/20/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Maplebear (CART), known as Instacart, and New England supermarket chain Big Y Foods said Tuesday they launched in-store kiosks and an online ordering service backed by Instacart's FoodStorm technology. Big Y customers will be able to customize meals at the kiosks, place orders online for pickup and prepay, or order delivery via the Instacart Marketplace, the companies said. Financial details were not provided. Instacart shares were up 2.4% in Tuesday trading. Price: 51.11, Change: +1.20, Percent Change: +2.40
