Nvidia Runs Record Quantum Computing Simulation on Jupiter Exascale Supercomputer

The 104-qubit simulation, running on Nvidia GH200 GPUs at Julich Supercomputing Centre, is the most detailed simulation of a fault-tolerant quantum processor, modeling how a realistic quantum processor performs fault-tolerant computation at record scale, the company said. This extent of fidelity gives researchers the data and tools to predict the future performance of designs before building them, reducing reliance on hardware trial and error and accelerating the development of meaningful quantum applications, the company added.
