SpaceX to Highlight 'Ambitious Updates' at Q3 Earnings, RBC Says

MT newswireMT newswire2026/10/19 14:55
10:55 AM EDT, 10/19/2026 (MT Newswires) -- SpaceX (SPCX) will highlight "ambitious updates" across its business, including a potential further pull-forward of its future targets, during its sooner-than-expected Q3 earnings release on Tuesday, RBC Capital Markets said in a Sunday note. A confirmation of the company's Starship 15 launch, which could be a "pivotal achievement for reusability," or further details on Flight 14, would be positive for sentiment, RBC analysts said. On the Starlink side, the acquisition of 800 MHz low-band spectrum and the Federal Communications Commission approval of its 15,000-satellite Gen2 constellation "significantly" bolsters Starlink Mobile's ability to compete with major carriers by enabling broader, deeper coverage, the analysts said. They added that the pricing opportunity across Starlink has the potential to be a tailwind for the margins of its Connectivity segment. With the recent partnership of SpaceX and Tesla (TSLA) around the Tesla Roadster, which used thrusters from SpaceX, investors will be increasingly interested in the potential merger of the two companies, according to the note. RBC maintained the company's stock rating at outperform and price target at $225. Price: 149.19, Change: +3.16, Percent Change: +2.16
