According to his personal profile, Snyder joined Tesla in 2014 and was gradually promoted, becoming responsible for the company’s Megapack industrial battery business unit. In 2024, after Tesla underwent a company-wide restructuring and layoffs, Snyder was promoted to vice president. At the time, several Tesla executives left the company, including Drew Baglino, who had long served as the head of the energy business.
