Colony Bankcorp, First Reliance Bancshares Shareholders Approve Merger

04:48 PM EDT, 10/15/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Colony Bankcorp (CBAN) and First Reliance Bancshares shareholders approved the merger of the companies, expected to be completed in Q4, subject to closing conditions, the companies said in a late Thursday statement. Under the deal, Colony will acquire 100% of First Reliance's stock in a stock-and-cash transaction valued at $163 million, according to a statement.
