Accenture Sees AI as Net Demand Driver, Targets Growth Acceleration, RBC Says

11:15 AM EDT, 10/15/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Accenture's (ACN) three-year financial framework targets at least mid-single-digit revenue growth in fiscal 2027 and 2028, accelerating to mid-to-high single digits in fiscal 2029, RBC Capital Markets said in a Wednesday note. RBC said management views artificial intelligence as a "net demand driver" with lower costs expanding outsourcing volumes. Emerging opportunities include AI and data managed services, operational technology security, agentic commerce and enterprise AI infrastructure, the firm said. The enterprise AI stack represents a potential new source of systems integration, managed services, governance, safety and security work, RBC said. Management noted that only 5% of enterprises currently have the foundational technology needed to scale AI in a repeatable way. Accenture's growth plan relies on two engines: its core business, which accounted for 94% of fiscal 2026 revenue, and a network of businesses currently representing 6% of revenue and growing at double-digit rates. RBC has an outperform rating and $240 price target on Accenture. Accenture shares were over 5% higher in Thursday trading. Price: 227.42, Change: +12.46, Percent Change: +5.79
