US spot XRP exchange-traded funds (ETFs) recorded net inflows of just $740,400 on October 14, underscoring a pronounced drop in fresh institutional demand compared to previous weeks. The slowdown comes despite total cumulative investments in these funds reaching nearly $1.8 billion since their initial launches in November 2025.
XRP ETF inflows slow to $740,400 as assets fall below $1.51 billion
ETF inflows decline as trading volume contracts
Recent data highlight a widening gap between the amount investors have allocated to XRP ETFs and the new funds entering the products. As of October 14, these ETFs managed approximately $1.509 billion in net assets, which is about $294 million less than their cumulative net inflows over the period.
SoSoValue, a cryptocurrency analytics provider known for its daily ETF tracker, reported that cumulative net inflows for US spot XRP ETFs had reached $1.803 billion. However, only Bitwise, a digital asset management firm specializing in cryptocurrency funds, registered new inflows on October 14, while other issuers remained flat.
These numbers present a stark contrast compared to previous months. On September 25, US spot XRP ETFs attracted approximately $22.6 million in new capital, with $14.9 million and $18 million recorded on the two prior days.
By October, daily inflows had fallen sharply, with just $740,400 reported on October 14. The entire amount was directed to the Bitwise XRP ETF.
Issuer performance and market context
Bitwise has emerged as the largest single XRP ETF provider based on net inflows, accumulating about $688 million since its fund’s launch. Franklin Templeton, a major global asset manager, followed with approximately $509 million in net inflows, while Canary Capital reported nearly $487 million.
Other issuers, including Grayscale and 21Shares, reported no fresh investor inflows on October 14, reinforcing the overall trend of slowing institutional engagement.
The weaker daily inflow figures follow a period characterized by sustained institutional interest in XRP, during which XRP ETFs experienced a 13-week run of net inflows, even amid a decline in XRP’s market price.
Investors have continued to allocate funds to XRP ETFs, even as the price of the underlying digital asset weakened and daily inflow rates declined.
Market observers noted that a single session of reduced inflows does not necessarily indicate a broader investor retreat from XRP ETFs, though it does illustrate shifting sentiment among large players.
Asset value and cumulative inflows diverge
As of October 14, cumulative net inflows for US spot XRP ETFs totaled $1.803 billion, while their combined net asset value reached just $1.509 billion. This $294 million difference underscores the impact of price volatility, fund-level decisions, and other market factors.
ETF net inflows reflect the difference between investor subscriptions and redemptions, whereas net assets are based on the latest market valuations of ETF holdings. Fluctuations in XRP prices, as well as the timing of asset purchases, influence these figures and should be interpreted cautiously.

The divergence between inflows and asset values does not directly reveal investor profit or loss, as it depends on the timing of investments, subsequent market movements, and structural adjustments within the funds.
Market trends and outlook
The latest inflow slowdown comes as XRP struggled to recover from a broader October cryptocurrency market selloff. During the period from October 5 to October 9, XRP fell by about 7.3%, even as spot XRP ETFs received around $11 million in new investments.
Analysts claim that while regulated investment channels are drawing capital, these inflows have not been enough to fully balance selling pressure in the wider market.
Despite current daily inflow weakness, cumulative ETF inflows have remained resilient, suggesting that long-term interest persists even as ETF asset values track ongoing XRP price volatility.
