Update: Venture Global Taps GE Vernova, Baker Hughes for Power Expansion

Venture Global (VG) has signed agreements with GE Vernova (GEV) and Baker Hughes (BKR) Energy Services to expand its grid-independent power network, potentially supporting up to 10 gigawatts of additional computing capacity, the company said Thursday. The agreements cover up to 16 power island units, each with 720 megawatts of capacity, and related transformer equipment, the company said. Venture Global expects to place its first order by year-end 2026 and develop up to 10 GW of computing capacity by 2034. The expansion would use off-grid gas-fired power, complementing Venture Global's LNG business and building on its existing 4.5 GW power capacity, it added.
