01:11 PM EDT, 10/14/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Healthcare stocks were higher Wednesday afternoon, with the NYSE Healthcare Index and the State Street Health Care Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLV) each adding 2.1%. The iShares Biotechnology ETF (IBB) climbed 1.4%. In corporate news, ImmunityBio's (IBRX) shares jumped past 4% after the US Food and Drug Administration said Wednesday the company's Anktiva was approved for adults with Bacillus Calmette-Guerin-unresponsive non-muscle invasive bladder cancer.
