07:35 AM EDT, 10/14/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Parabilis Medicines (PBLS) has initiated a dose-ranging group to evaluate its investigational drug zolucatetide in patients with familial adenomatous polyposis as part of an ongoing phase 1/2 trial, the company said Wednesday. The study will evaluate zolucatetide, which targets the beta-catenin interaction involved in precancerous polyp formation, as a standalone treatment in adults with FAP who have an APC mutation, have undergone colectomy and have measurable duodenal polyps, the company said. Two FAP patients with concomitant desmoid tumors showed significant reductions in duodenal polyp burden, with additional data expected in Q1 2027, Parabilis said.
