VinFast Partner Launches All-Electric Taxi Service in Los Angeles

05:11 AM EDT, 10/14/2026 (MT Newswires) -- VinFast Auto (VFS) partner Green SM has launched its all-electric taxi service in Los Angeles, California, offering a fleet of VinFast vehicles, according to a Wednesday statement. Green SM said customers can book rides through its app, by phone or by hailing vehicles on the street. The service uses an all-electric fleet of VinFast VF 8 vehicles and will offer local trips, longer journeys and airport transfers, the company said. VinFast said Green SM's services were available in Los Angeles starting Tuesday, marking its North American entry and its ninth international market.
