05:34 PM EDT, 10/13/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Cirrus Logic (CRUS) confirmed in a late Tuesday regulatory filing that it is no longer pursuing a deal to acquire Synaptics (SYNA) after making proposals for the chipmaker. The company acknowledged it was the unnamed party referenced in regulatory filings about Synaptics' pending merger with ON Semiconductor (ON), but declined to confirm the accuracy of the filings' descriptions of its proposals, according to the filing.
