TSMC may raise its annual revenue guidance when releasing its third-quarter earnings

Zero One founder and Executive Director Vincent Fernando stated that TSMC may again raise its full-year revenue guidance when it announces third-quarter results on Thursday. TSMC's September revenue, released last week, was close to the historical record set in August, pushing total third-quarter revenue above the company's previously given forecast range. According to Fernando, TSMC's sales performance exceeded expectations, making the company's previous projection of "slightly above 40%" U.S. dollar revenue growth for 2026 appear relatively conservative. He said, "If TSMC maintains its current wording, it would mean that fourth-quarter revenue growth will be only one-third of the company's guidance level for the third quarter." This growth rate would be lower than TSMC's current actual business performance. He added, "Therefore, there is indeed a possibility for TSMC to further upgrade its full-year revenue growth guidance."
