09:11 AM EDT, 10/12/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Technology stocks were mixed pre-bell Monday, with the State Street Technology Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLK) down 0.3% and the State Street SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) inactive. CCC Intelligent Solutions (CCC) shares were up 11% following media reports on Friday that private equity firm GTCR and activist investor Elliott Investment Management are in advanced, late-stage negotiations to acquire the automotive insurance software provider. Salesforce (CRM) shares were up more than 3% in premarket activity after BofA Securities upgraded the company to buy from underperform. ASE Technology (ASX) stock was 1% higher after the company reported higher September revenue.
