Humacyte to Present Phase 3 Dialysis Access Trial Results at ASN Kidney Week

08:39 AM EDT, 10/12/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Humacyte (HUMA) said Monday that the interim results from its Phase 3 V012 trial will be presented at ASN Kidney Week 2026. The trial compares its investigational acellular tissue-engineered vessel (ATEV) with conventional arteriovenous fistulas for hemodialysis access in female patients with end-stage kidney disease, it said. The results will be presented by Prabir Roy-Chaudhury of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine on Oct. 22 in Denver, Colorado, the company said. Humacyte said it plans to use the V012 results, alongside data from two earlier phase 3 trials, to support a US Food and Drug Administration application seeking to expand Symvess' approved uses in Q4 2026.
