08:03 AM EDT, 10/12/2026 (MT Newswires) -- First Tracks Biotherapeutics (TRAX) said Monday its investigational drug ANB033 significantly reduced gluten-induced intestinal damage and prevented an increase in symptoms in a phase 1b study in patients with celiac disease. The trial evaluated 32 patients who completed dosing and the gluten challenge after receiving ANB033 or a placebo over six weeks before completing a 14-day gluten challenge consuming the equivalent of about two slices of bread daily, the company said. No serious adverse events or treatment discontinuations were reported among ANB033-treated patients, and the most common side effects included injection-site redness, nausea and abdominal pain. Shares of First Tracks Biotherapeutics were 16% higher in Monday premarket activity.
