Zenas BioPharma Reports New Obexelimab Data in IgG4-Related Disease

07:38 AM EDT, 10/12/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Zenas BioPharma (ZBIO) presented new data on its investigational drug obexelimab for immunoglobulin G4-related disease at an international symposium held Oct. 8 to 10 in Cambridge, Massachusetts, the company said Monday. The phase 3 Indigo extension showed a 93% 12-month probability of remaining flare-free, with adverse event rates comparable to or lower than those observed during the controlled study period, the company said. Obexelimab significantly reduced glucocorticoid toxicity versus placebo at week 52, while an initial vaccine sub-study showed influenza seroimmunity in 86% of participants and COVID-19 seroimmunity in all four participants assessed, it added. No disease flares were observed during that window, which lasted an average of 34.6 days, the company said. Zenas said it expects topline results from its Phase 2 SunStone trial of obexelimab in systemic lupus erythematosus in Q4 2026.
