TTM Technologies to Invest $400 Million to Expand AI Infrastructure Capacity

06:49 AM EDT, 10/12/2026 (MT Newswires) -- TTM Technologies (TTMI) said Monday it will invest $400 million to expand capacity at four Chinese facilities and the plant in Penang, Malaysia. The planned investments will support rising demand for artificial intelligence infrastructure, primarily by scaling up manufacturing of N+M asymmetrical interconnect products. The investment builds on TTM's previously announced commitment to invest $1.2 billion between 2025 and 2029. The company added that it will undertake a brownfield approach for strategic expansions rather than "greenfield" construction to meet the urgent needs of data center infrastructure providers, hyperscalers, and networking customers.
