Life Time Opens new Athletic Country Club in Lakewood Ranch

06:45 AM EDT, 10/12/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Life Time (LTH) opened its Lakewood Ranch Athletic Country Club in Sarasota, Florida, adding its eighth location in the state, the company said Monday. The more than 180,000-square-foot facility includes an 86,000-square-foot athletic club, a nearly 50,000-square-foot beach club and a pickleball retreat with 14 courts, including three indoor and 11 outdoor courts, alongside fitness studios, pools, spa and recovery services, dining areas, coworking spaces and childcare, the company said. The opening marks Life Time's second Gulf Coast location and its first ground-up athletic country club in the Tampa-Sarasota region, with a Jacksonville club planned for 2027 and additional Florida locations to follow, it added.
