Leidos Selects X-Bow Systems for Booster Motors of US Army Munitions

06:38 AM EDT, 10/12/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Leidos (LDOS) has selected X-Bow Systems to develop and produce booster motors for the US Army's new low-cost containerized munition, X-Bow said Monday. Financial terms were not disclosed. Under the agreement, X-Bow will work on design and testing ahead of full-rate production of booster motors in 2027, the company said. X-Bow said the award marks its sixth new propulsion program selection in 2026, covering work for the US Navy, Army and Missile Defense Agency. The company also said it recently completed its first major production contract, delivering more than 2,100 rocket motors.
