Lisa Su says AMD demand still exceeds supply, supply will increase significantly in 2027
智通财经2026/10/06 05:56AMD (AMD.US) CEO Lisa Su stated on Tuesday that the overall CPU market is expected to grow significantly by 2026. Although AMD has already increased both supply and production capacity, "demand still exceeds supply," and memory chip supply remains tight. The company will continue to expand its supply and expects to significantly increase deliveries in 2027. The production planning cycle between AMD and its supply chain partners has been extended from the previous one to two years, to now three to five years. Lisa Su mentioned that today she held positive discussions with partners such as Acer, Asus, Foxconn, and Quanta, and will meet with TSMC in the afternoon. Su also emphasized that artificial intelligence is beneficial to the world and will not harm humanity; collaboration among leading American AI companies is very important. She noted that there is still much work to be done on security innovation, and the "US Superintelligence Task Force" represents "an important step forward."
