Singapore data center operator DayOne (DODC.US) applies for US listing, valuation may reach 20 billions USD

According to Jinse Finance, Singapore-based data center operator DayOne Data Centers submitted an F-1 registration statement to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on Monday, aiming for an initial public offering (IPO) of American Depositary Shares (ADS) on the Nasdaq Stock Market, with the ticker symbol “DODC.” DayOne plans to use the IPO proceeds to develop and construct new data center projects, as well as for working capital and other general corporate purposes. While DayOne has not disclosed the size of the offering, previous reports indicated the company plans to raise up to 5 billions USD, with a potential valuation reaching 20 billions USD.

According to Zhitong Finance APP, Singapore-based data center operator DayOne Data Centers filed an F-1 registration statement with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on Monday, planning to launch an initial public offering (IPO) of American Depository Shares (ADS) on the Nasdaq Stock Market under the ticker symbol "DODC." DayOne intends to use the funds raised from the IPO to develop and construct new data center projects, as well as for working capital and other general corporate purposes. DayOne has not yet disclosed the size of the offering, but it was previously reported that the company plans to raise up to $5 billion, with a potential valuation reaching $20 billion.

Vietnam’s LNG power generation plan faces serious delays, with only 1 out of 18 projects expected to be completed on time

(1) Vietnam is vigorously promoting the use of LNG to meet the surging electricity demand, but related projects are seriously behind schedule, with only 1 out of 18 LNG power generation projects expected to be completed on time. (2) Vietnam’s Minister of Industry and Trade, Le Minh Hoan, stated at a government meeting last week that the total installed capacity of these proposed projects exceeds 20 gigawatts, but only the Xi Fu LNG project is proceeding as planned. Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, Truong Quang Hoai, said at the same meeting that investors have been selected for 16 of the 18 projects, but only two projects have started construction. (3) Project delays threaten Vietnam’s plan to increase the proportion of LNG in its energy mix to 12% by 2030. The Ministry of Industry and Trade warned last month that, due to these delays, Vietnam may face a risk of power shortages next year.
