🔥 Bitget US Stock Hot-Topic Strike|2026.10.01 Main line: AI memory and rack-scale deployment|Micron earnings · Rubin production · AMD Helios · custom chips image 0

1. Micron blows out earnings; memory remains the AI bottleneck

On September 30, Micron reported fiscal Q4 revenue of $54.23 billion and adjusted EPS of $33.42, both above estimates. Fiscal Q1 revenue guidance is $61.5 billion ± $1.5 billion, with adjusted EPS of $38.15 ± $1. Commitments under long-term supply agreements rose to $32 billion from $22 billion in June, and remaining performance obligations are about $150 billion. The company said most of its fiscal 2027 HBM output is already locked in, and it raised capital spending. The stock rose less than 1% after hours.

🎯 Beneficiaries: MU, LRCX, AMAT; key catalyst: the memory shortage narrative is confirmed by earnings, leaving a follow-through window for equipment and HBM names.

2. Vera Rubin NVL72 enters production workloads

CoreWeave said NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL72 is in limited availability on its cloud, with Cognition (Devin) the first customer running production workloads. Cognition measured up to 4.8x total token throughput versus GB200 NVL72 on software-engineering inference. CoreWeave said AI agent sandbox startup on the Vera CPU is more than 3x faster. NVIDIA closed up 0.51%.

🎯 Beneficiaries: NVDA, CRWV; key catalyst: Rubin has moved from launch to customer production; watch cloud rollout pace and inference orders.

3. HPE wins a $1.2 billion AMD Helios order

HPE received a $1.2 billion order from cloud firm Vultr to deploy AMD Helios racks, its first order for the system. Each rack carries 72 Instinct MI455X GPUs, paired with EPYC Venice CPUs, Pensando NICs, and HPE Juniper switches. Networking revenue CAGR for fiscal 2026–2029 was raised to the high teens, and fiscal 2027 networking growth was raised to the high teens to low 20s. Shares rose about 4%–6% intraday. 🎯 Beneficiaries: HPE, AMD; key catalyst: AMD’s rack solution lands a cloud order, with the networking outlook raised at the same time.

4. Synopsys signs a $1 billion-plus chip IP deal with Amazon

Synopsys and AWS signed a multi-year silicon IP license worth more than $1 billion. Amazon is the lead customer for application-optimized IP, covering custom chips and cloud infrastructure. Synopsys will also adopt AWS compute, storage, and Bedrock. The companies did not specify whether the IP lands on Graviton or Trainium.

🎯 Beneficiaries: SNPS, AMZN; key catalyst: cloud custom silicon extends from design tools to IP licensing, adding orders along the custom ASIC chain.

5. Apple’s October 13 smart-home event, OpenAI DevDay lands the same week

Gurman said Apple plans to launch its first smart-home hub, codenamed J490, on October 13, along with a 2027 HomePod mini and a new Apple TV. Apple closed up 1.10%. OpenAI’s San Francisco developer conference released more than 20 updates, including personal agent Dots and the GPT-6.1 Sol model. Meta closed down 1.84%. 🎯 Beneficiaries: AAPL, META; key catalyst: the on-device home hardware window is near, and the personal-agent narrative is entering a product comparison phase.

6. BofA raises the AI infrastructure market; Intel outperforms

BofA lifted its 2026–2030 AI data-center systems addressable market to $2.2 trillion from $1.8 trillion, and the annual pace to 40% from 33%. Near-term top picks include NVDA, INTC, MU, MRVL (Analyst Day on October 6), and LRCX. Intel closed up 3.71%. On the macro side, cooler-than-expected inflation cut October hike odds to about 37%. The S&P 500 fell 0.25%, the Nasdaq rose 0.24%, and the Dow fell 0.86%. 🎯 Beneficiaries: INTC, MRVL, NVDA; key catalyst: a sell-side upgrade plus Intel fund inflows, with MRVL’s Analyst Day imminent.

Trading note: Flows are still tracking memory earnings, Rubin production, and the AMD rack order. Custom chips and the Apple home chain are the event-driven side trades. With rates still elevated and indexes split, prioritize volume and guidance confirmation, and do not extrapolate a single day’s move.
