Robinhood Markets Plans Weekend Equities Trading, Perpetual Futures for US Customers

07:58 PM EDT, 09/29/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Robinhood Markets (HOOD) said Tuesday it plans to let customers trade a selection of US equities and ETFs around the clock, including weekends, pending regulatory review, as it rolls out a slate of active-trading products at its HOOD Summit in Houston. The company also plans to offer perpetual futures to eligible US customers in the coming months, with long or short positions on eight cryptocurrencies including bitcoin and ethereum. Leverage will reach up to 10x on bitcoin and ethereum and 3x on the others, and Robinhood said it will charge one basis point per trade through year-end. Robinhood also introduced Robinhood Agents, an in-app AI tool that can analyze markets, build strategies and trade on a customer's behalf. It said the feature is coming soon to eligible US customers.
