- ** Shares of aviation aftermarket services provider AAR (AIR.N) rose about 7% in premarket trading, reaching $123

** On Monday, AAR reported adjusted earnings per share of $1.49 for the first quarter, compared to $1.08 in the same period last year

** Full-year sales growth rate is expected to be at the low end of the double-digit percentage range, versus a previous forecast of the low end of the double-digit to teen percentage range

** The company also said (link) it will acquire a 65% controlling stake in aircraft maintenance company MRO Holdings for about $1.8 billion

** The transaction is expected to close in AAR’s fiscal third quarter ending February 2027

** According to documents filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the company will pay a termination fee of $100 million or $150 million if the transaction is terminated due to failure to obtain antitrust approval

** Based on data compiled by London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG), the median target price from eight brokers covering the stock is $145

** As of the close of the previous trading day, the stock is up about 40% year to date
