PepsiCo (PEP.US) will raise the prices of some of its chips, sodas, and dip products again after several months of price reductions, despite previously promising to make its snack products more affordable. According to sources, PepsiCo is expected to increase the prices of grocery store-sized chip packages, including Doritos and Lay's Ruffles chips, which had seen price drops earlier this year. The price hike will also affect other brands, such as SunChips, and is expected to take effect by the end of this year or early 2027. A PepsiCo spokesperson stated that the prices of some chip products will rise by a low to mid single-digit percentage, in line with inflation, and that the new prices will still be lower than those before the price cuts earlier this year.
