04:15 AM EDT, 09/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- BlackRock (BLK) and IFM Investors are in exclusive talks to acquire Stack Infrastructure's Asia Pacific data centers in a deal that could value the portfolio at $20 billion to $25 billion, Bloomberg reported Thursday, citing unnamed people familiar with the matter. The BlackRock-backed investor group plans to conduct due diligence on the assets and aims to reach an agreement with Stack owner Blue Owl Capital (OWL), the report said. The talks follow Blue Owl's earlier effort to sell the portfolio at a higher valuation above $30 billion, according to the report. BlackRock and Blue Owl Capital did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment. (Market Chatter news is derived from conversations with market professionals globally. Previously, due to soaring oil prices, Asian refineries had been considering reducing operating rates. This large-scale supply has to some extent mitigated the supply risks faced by Asia.
