02:40 PM EDT, 09/23/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Walmart (WMT) said Wednesday it has opened a new 45,000 square-foot Neighborhood Market in Mesquite, offering fresh groceries, everyday essentials, pharmacy services and more. Walmart has invested over $2.5 billion in Texas stores over the past five years, and plans to remodel 72 locations across the state in 2026, according to a statement.
