Zhihu Finance APP has noted that Uber (UBER.US) early investor Jason Calacanis has taken small positions in WeRide (WRD.US), Pony.ai (PONY.US), Lucid Group (LCID.US), and Rivian Automotive (RIVN.US), betting that the race around robotaxi fleets will lead to acquisitions. He expects that all four companies will be acquired within 24 months, and this group of investments as a portfolio will double in less than two years.
