- ** Oracle Financial Services Software (ORCL.NS) fell 6.4% to 11,131 rupees, hitting its lowest level since July 31

** The stock is heading for its worst single-day performance since July 22, and is the biggest decliner in the IT index .NIFTYIT, which is down 0.7%

** The Financial Times reported on Friday that approximately $18 billion (link) of loans tied to a data center leased in New Mexico by parent company Oracle's ORCL.N are currently under pressure; a syndicate of banks including Santander and Jefferies are offering these loans at 89 to 91 cents on the dollar

** As of the time of reporting, Oracle, Santander, and Jefferies had not responded to Reuters' requests for comment

** Year-to-date, the stock has risen about 45%, while the IT index has dropped 24.3%
