05:01 AM EDT, 09/18/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Halozyme Therapeutics (HALO) priced $1.3 billion of 1.50% convertible senior notes due 2033, the company said Thursday. The offering was increased from an initially planned $1.05 billion. The company gave initial purchasers a 13-day option to buy up to an additional $200 million of the convertible notes. Halozyme said the offering is expected to close Sept. 22, and the company expects to receive around $1.275 billion in net proceeds, which could reach $1.471 billion if the initial purchasers exercise the option in full. Halozyme said it plans to use about $162.5 million of the net proceeds to fund certain capped call transactions. It will also use a portion of the proceeds to repurchase about $151.7 million of its convertible senior notes due 2027 and $220 million of its convertible senior notes due 2028. Shares of the company fell around 0.6% in premarket activity Friday.
