Global Atomic Conditionally Secures $414 Million Financing Facility For Dasa Project in Niger

03:39 PM EDT, 09/16/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Global Atomic (GLO.TO) has conditionally secured a $414.2 million debt facility with the US International Development Finance, the company said on Wednesday. The funds will be directed towards the Dasa Project in Niger, West Africa, subject to certain conditions being met. These include identifying a viable route to export yellowcake (U3O8) from the project site, and negotiating a satisfactory direct agreement with the government of Niger. Final terms of the facility have not yet been determined. Global Atomic said the Dasa Project, the largest highest-grade uranium mine in Africa, is scheduled to begin commercial production in the second half of 2028. Global Atomic shares were last seen up CA$0.20 at CA$0.69 on the Toronto Stock Exchange. Price: 0.69, Change: +0.20, Percent Change: +40.82
