Warsh Says Fighting Inflation Benefits Working Class -- WSJ

Raising rates will ultimately benefit working-class Americans, Warsh said at the press conference. "The least well off are the ones who have the most to gain from stable prices," Warsh said. Lower-income Americans are hurt most by rising prices. "The least well off tend to be people who don't own financial assets," he said. "They're living off their paycheck."
