Jensen Huang says the AI industry does not need new laws or regulatory measures

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang stated at an event hosted by Salesforce on Tuesday that the AI industry "does not need any new laws or regulatory measures." He reiterated his previous similar viewpoint, saying that the claim that AI development must choose between safety and speed is a "false proposition." Huang emphasized that both can be achieved simultaneously. "Companies can advance at their own pace until they are confident that their products will be accepted by the market. Market forces already exist. Enterprises have the ability to decide not to release technologies or products that may cause harm." Earlier this week, Huang participated in a live phone call with U.S. President Trump during an event, where both refuted recent opinions that AI development should be slowed down.
