Sector Update: Tech

03:33 PM EDT, 09/15/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Tech stocks were mixed late Tuesday afternoon, with the State Street Technology Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLK) decreasing 0.4% and the State Street SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) adding 1.2%. The Philadelphia Semiconductor index was up 0.3%. In corporate news, Amazon's (AMZN) Amazon Web Services said Tuesday it is unable to restore access to data at some sites in the Middle East due to the ongoing conflict in the region. Amazon shares were down 2.3%.
