  1. Norwegian natural gas system operator Gassco adjusted the planned maintenance schedule for the Heidrun facility on Tuesday, with the production stoppage slightly reduced from 5.9 million cubic meters per day to 5.8 million cubic meters per day. The start date has been postponed from March 1, 2027 to March 2, with completion expected on March 3.
  2. The maintenance scale at the Kollsnes facility has been expanded from 21 million cubic meters per day to 30 million cubic meters per day, and both the start and end dates have been brought forward from the originally scheduled September 21-22 to September 16-17.
  3. The planned stoppage at the Nyhamna facility remains unchanged at 34.8 million cubic meters per day, but the timeline has also been advanced, moving from September 21-22 to September 16-17.
  4. The three facilities have undergone adjustments in different directions, but the earlier maintenance at Kollsnes and Nyhamna combined with the expansion at Kollsnes means that Norwegian natural gas supply will be more intensively reduced in the short term than previously expected.
  5. The subsequent focus will be on whether maintenance finishes on schedule and how the tightening supply impacts European natural gas prices and the pace of inventory replenishment.
